MadCode’s challenge was to introduce students to technology as a creative tool, develop a learning environment through playful challenges that help to build their logic and abstraction skills, the basis for computational thinking while increasing engagement and bringing a solution that differs from a competition. 

Through the combination of the traditional teaching methods and gamification techniques, MadCode students were involved in a playful space universe. The trainings were set in different units, covering all the basic programming logic. The whole students’ performance were evaluated in real time by the platform and enabled teachers to have a clear view of students and group difficulties.
